The canterbury plains are about as plain and boring as landscapes get (pun unintended). So while I'm alive, I can't take new photographs. Since I've never really used this site all that much, it's not a real bother. I might try converted some old .CR2 files over and uploading some older shots though.

From the 27th of November to the 31st of December I've been in Costa Rica, doing volunteer work and touristy stuff (the volunteer stuff is way better than the tour afterwards). As a result, I have pictures to upload again, which will be happening some time in January. Right now they're all still on the SDHC card until I have access to a real computer again. This also marks a new camera: I upgraded from the old Sony Alpha A200 to a Canon EOS 1100D (Aka: Rebel T3). Cheapest decent canon I could get with a good twin-lens kit. In this case, my biology exam got permanently cancelled due to the roads being covered in ice/snow/slush/crashed TVNZ vehicles. Guess I'm hoping for an aegrotat. It's been months since I went out and took pictures. Maybe I can get back into it once the rest of my exams are out of the way....and before the next term starts.
